Recognize the signs

Where do you feel it?

For some people it starts as a faint tingle in the toes. For others it is burning in the feet, weakness in the hands, or a step that feels less steady than it used to.

At Infinity, those details matter. Where you feel it, when it started and how it affects your day all help your provider identify the type of neuropathy before recommending treatment.

Choose an area to see the symptoms associated with each type.

Peripheral neuropathy is the most common type, often seen in people with diabetes, vascular disorders or a history of chemotherapy.

Common causesDiabetes is the leading cause. Others include autoimmune disease, chemotherapy or radiation, spinal cord injury, certain infections and exposure to toxic substances. At Infinity, identifying the cause is part of every first visit, alongside the type and severity.

The Infinity approach

Many treatments focus on managing the pain. Ours is designed to support the nerve.

Many patients come to us after years of managing nerve pain with medication alone. At Infinity, treatment is aimed at the nerve itself, using a non-surgical protocol:

  • A numbing component

A local anesthetic used to help reduce pain signals in the affected area.

  • A nerve-focused therapy

A non-invasive therapy designed to support nerve function and repair.

  • Sessions set after your evaluation

The number of visits depends on the severity of the nerve damage and how you respond.

Every patient at Infinity starts with an evaluation, and your provider explains each part of the protocol before treatment begins.

  • A list of current medications and dosages
  • Relevant medical records, lab results or imaging
  • Your symptoms, questions and concerns
Patient reviews

Thorough exams and clear explanations, in patients’ own words.

Very welcoming with a raft of paperwork, so come early for your first appointment. Waited 10-15 minutes in the exam room as the Dr. takes the time with each patient and this is excellent. Explains every detail, a through examination and diagnosis. Highly recommended!!

Very personal & warm place!! Procedure very effective & non-invssive! Can carry-on with your day once the 20 minute treatment is done. Wonderful staff; attentive, friendly, helpful. Drs: experienced & also very caring, for each patient as an individual. Yes, I would, and I have, highly recommend this place & this treatment.

This is the first time I have noticed results from many different treatments for my neuropathy in both my legs. I went to the Infinity treatment center as I have many other doctors and hospitable for what I expected treatments with no results. I noticed results from the very first visits and continue to do so with each treatment. What ever Infinity is doing different I am sold on their treatments.

FAQ

Questions patients ask before booking.

Do you treat numbness and tingling in the hands?

Yes. Peripheral neuropathy can affect the arms and hands as well as the legs and feet, and your evaluation covers wherever you are noticing symptoms.

Can diabetes cause neuropathy?

Yes. Diabetes is the most common cause of peripheral neuropathy. Over time, high blood sugar can damage the nerves, particularly in the feet and lower legs.

Is the treatment surgical?

No. The protocol is non-surgical. It includes a local anesthetic to help reduce pain, and your provider explains each part before treatment begins.

I have already tried other treatments. Is this different?

Your provider will review what you have tried and any prior records you bring, so your plan takes that history into account.

Does neuropathy get worse without treatment?

Peripheral neuropathy is generally progressive, so symptoms can worsen over time without care. That is a good reason to have it evaluated sooner rather than later.

Do I need a referral?

In most cases, no. Some insurance plans may require one, so it helps to check with your plan or call us at (469) 209-8100.
